Position Overview:
OUI Recruitment is seeking a Network Engineer to join an established IT solutions provider. This organisation delivers telecommunications, managed services, cybersecurity, and network solutions to enterprise clients across multiple sectors. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage WAN solutions across enterprise environments
• Work with MPLS core infrastructure and SD-WAN technologies
• Monitor network performance and optimise for reliability
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions
• Apply knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
• Implement network segmentation and security approaches
• Apply network security principles including encryption, authentication, and access control
• Utilise strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical challenges

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience implementing WAN solutions
• Hands-on experience with MPLS core and SD-WAN technologies
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and optimise network performance
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities for network issues
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Knowledge of network segmentation and security methodologies
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Technical Requirements:

• WAN solutions (MPLS, SD-WAN)
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Network segmentation and security frameworks
• Network security principles (encryption, authentication, access control)
• Network monitoring and performance optimisation tools
• Experience with Aruba Central (highly desirable)
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (highly desirable)
