Position: Network Engineer
Location: Perth CBD
Rate: $130,000 - $140,000 + Super
Job Type: Permanent
  
Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a highly skilled Network Engineer to join a Perth-based team. They are a group of talented individuals, who work well as a unit. The role offers extensive training and progression, including funded certifications. This role involves extensive troubleshooting, network design, and the opportunity to lead complex projects.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and configure Cisco network devices (switches and routers).
  • Configure and administer firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint).
  • Design, build, and document network solutions for new projects and upgrades.
  • Lead the implementation of large-scale projects including site upgrades, network expansions, and transitions to new data centres.
  • Management of network access and security.
  • Implement and optimise routing protocols.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with business requirements.
  
Role Requirements:
  • Experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies.
  • Strong experience with network troubleshooting and design.
  • Proven experience with firewalls.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a client-first approach.
  • A desire to continually learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications are highly regarded (CCNA, CCNP, ITIL).
